Frantoio Raguso was born in 1894 in between sunny hills and the sharp lands belonging to “Alta Murgia”, in Apulia, considered the reign of EVO.
Apulian oil stands for the heritage that speaks the language of history, agriculture, gastronomy, tourism and nature. Extra virgin – Oil has different characteristics as different are the olives used to produce it. In particular way in “Alta Murgia” the olives are sweeter because of ideal conditions for the ripening, able to create an excellent extra virgin oil.
The percentage of free oleic acid changes the acidity of the oil, which is the base for the different oil classifications in commerce. Raguso Olive Oil is Extra Virgin. (Virgin Olive Oil with free acidity not more than 1 g per 100 g. )
